SINGLE REVIEW: S.J. Armstrong - Building A Spaceship

Boasting all real instruments and no vocal tuning new single 'Designing a Spaceship' from California-hailing Seattle-based S.J. Armstrong is a fun, playful, unconventional get-up and dance anthem for a good time.

Multi-instrumentalist S.J. plays over a dozen instruments which he uses to build a multi-layered sound showcasing all his talents.

His vocals are warm, friendly, and inviting, while the overall vibe of the track is uplifting and enticing. Some more hazy moments pair with rocky, attitude-heavy addictiveness. There's an attractive, funky groove running throughout. Chiming hooks, sparkling guitars, and vibrant drums back S.J.'s vocals with hints of 80's inspired electronica.

Vocal layering captivates with a well-produced well-rounded sound, offering empathy and genuineness. Fusing classic rock with modern elements, 'Building A Spaceship' is a catchy uptempo tune that makes you want to get up and dance!
