SINGLE REVIEW: Learn to Lie - STRONG

Channelling the idea of walking away from toxicity Midlands based Learn to Lie shares their anthemic new single 'STRONG'.

Riff-driven and melodic Learn to Lie drawn comparison to other strong female-fronted bands such as Paramore or Garbage with their no-nonsense attitude heavy sound. Somewhat progressive 'STRONG' swoops and soars with its classic emotional alt-rock stance that incorporates elements of metalcore impact and EMO vulnerability.

Lead vocalist Courtney has the most wonderful vocal tone that balances anger with fragility as the lyrics blast with the idea of escaping damaging relationships. The feeling of being free from the harmful, soul-destroying sensations that occur when you surround yourself with people who radiate negativity.

'STRONG' is a bold, powerful anthem, with killer riffs and a hook-heavy chorus. An epic venue-filling sound that bleeds emotion within its compelling songwriting.

Amy

I'm Amy a Norfolk girl, currently residing at the seaside.

Age: eternally 21 (Iā€™m really Peter Pan!).

By day I'm a Leaks, Condensation, Damp and Mould Resident Liaison Officer and by night I'm CRB's admin bitch, reviewer extraordinaire, point and hope for the best photographer, paperclip monitor and expert at breaking anything technical then expecting Scott to fix it!

I'm into all kinds of music the more obscure the better (my music taste is definitely better than yours šŸ¤ŖšŸ˜œ) with my fave band being The Wonder Years.

I'm an Ipswich Town fan and have an unhealthy obsession with hedgehogs!
