SINGLE REVIEW: Aza Brown - Wasting Away

Brit rocker and The WonderWhys frontman Aza Brown breaks out on his own to embrace positivity on new single 'Wasting Away'.

A beautiful sunshine toe-tapper 'Wasting Away' is a gloriously melodic, wonderfully catchy, heartwarmingly infectious indie pop anthem. It radiates upbeat energy with joyful, jangly chords and sun-soaked harmonies.

Aza's vocals are pure, warm, and sincere. He has a magnificent homely tone which fits the bouncy yet comforting vibe of 'Wasting Away' perfectly. There's a dramatic element to the song that gives it a bit of a grand show tune feel with an addictive swing that's sure to get your head nodding.

The lyrics deal with the idea of not letting negative thoughts take over. Stop wasting time being stuck in a rut, work on making positive changes, and embrace the beauty that can be found every day.

Aza Brown is a wonderful talent, a positive soul who not only produces heartfelt tunes with an uplifting message but also comes across as the type of person you'd like to go for a beer with. Someone who would be able to lift the rain clouds on even the darkest days.
