SINGLE REVIEW: Kieo - Happy to Lose My Mind

'Happy to Lose My Mind' is the latest single from unsigned Liverpool artist Kieo.

The multifaceted track is an enchanting listen. It features stunning, rousing, somewhat sultry vocals with the perfect hint of a Liverpudlian accent.

The sound has a tribal-esque vibe with a darkened feel topped with up-beat tones. There's a feeling of progressive joy as the lyrics detail uplifting themes of being with someone through hard times. The idea that you're happy to lose yourself through challenging situations as you're safe in the knowledge the other person is there to help put you back together again.

'Happy to Lose My Mind' captivates with a dreamy, mystifying charisma and thoughtful melodic rhythm. Kieo's vocals are the perfect balance of stunning smoothness with a sparkle of his Scouse roots coming through. It's a magnificent indie rock anthem with heartwarming qualities.

The production on 'Happy to Lose My Mind' is flawless. I'm not sure why Kieo hasn't been snapped up by a record label or management as the quality of his work is impeccable.
