SINGLE REVIEW: Endless Exam - Dream of Fairytale

Finland's Endless Exam introduce the terrifying concept of a world where normal people serve no purpose and only exist as a voiceless cog in a machine on new single 'Dream of Fairytale'

The track comes in on a twinkling keys that feels like a sinister lullaby, or a score from a film where some paranormal being is lurking in the shadows before blasting in with full speed magnificence.

Exhilarating and quirky 'Dream of Fairytale' combats with thundering drums, killer, electrifying riffs and an intensifying battling sound. The layers of vocals are both bold with impactful power but also raucous with uneasy energy.

It rages with passion and frustration at the idea you're only somebody if you're in a position of power, however those at the top neglect to remember without the normal people the wheels simply stop turning.

'Dream of Fairytale' is progressive, slightly experimental, melodic and theatrical with anthemic qualities. The lulls in the track reintroduced its lullaby state adding to the intrigue and creepy dimensions.

This enthralling listen is sure to captivate and drag you screaming into a world of turmoil that will both terrify and mesmerise you.
