SINGLE REVIEW: Kelsey Montanez - Right Time To Win

Kelsey Montanez trades the pop tones of previous single 'I Sold My Soul' to opt for a more Bluegrass stance on latest track 'Right Time to Win'.

Showing her abilities as an artist and showcasing the versatility in her songwriting 'Right Time to Win' features stunning earthy, bluesy vocals with delightful harmonies and a powerful chorus. There's subtle attitude and bold confidence. Uptempo guitars are challenged by traditional bluegrass harmonica. The track gives the feeling of a journey through life.

The highs, the lows and the people who put you down not knowing your story. Always looking for the right time to win and make yourself known. It's about picking your moments to shine and knowing the times to let other people's judgement float over you without challenging it.

Starting off slower the drums on 'Right Time to Win' erupt from their plod for the chorus then build to a crescendo of battling guitars and screaming harmonica for the finale which adds the perfect amount of impact to ensure the track goes out with a bang.

Kelsey is an exceptional artist who is constantly reinventing herself and trying something new. She's creative, an outstanding songwriter with an exquisite voice and a raw, impassioned yet polished sound.
