SINGLE REVIEW: WhiteRoomNightmare - What You're Made Of

Thundering in on an array of distortion and fuzz, the new single 'What You're Made Of' from Northern Ireland's WhiteRoomNightmare in a fast pace, uptempo banger.

'What You're Made Of' is the friend on your shoulder when you're doubting yourself or debating giving up on your dreams. It's the voice that tells you to ignore the haters and keep pushing to achieve what you love. "If you feel like there's something to prove, act like you've got nothing to lose", "if you fall when you're learning to fly at least you gave it a try" the words burst with the zeal that it is better to try and reach your goal rather than forever wonder what if.

The track boasts hazy, grunge inspired vocals, gritty bass and scuzzy dark guitars backed with protesting drums. It radiates the frantic energy of punk while also taking the melodic nature of indie.

Although a hardened pro, WhiteRoomNightmare always retains a somewhat under produced, DIY, garage rock sound which I love. 'What You're Made Of' is fuzzed up, catchy and beaming with optimism. An anthem for anyone needing a word of encouragement to pull them out of a shitty headspace.
