Poland Post-Punk Outfit Dorian's Steaming Shadow Release Debut Album “Frozen Nightmares” via Antena Krzyku
Emerging from Bialystok, Poland, Dorian's Steaming Shadow is a quartet with a sonic blend rooted in 80s new wave and 90s alternative, influenced by the likes of Bauhaus, Gang of Four, Nine Inch Nails, and Manic Street Preachers. Their sound combines a dark gothic atmosphere with a contemporary post-punk edge, echoing the energy of bands like IDLES, Fontaines D.C., and A Place to Bury Strangers.
Their highly anticipated debut album, titled “Frozen Nightmares”, was launched on 25 October via label Antena Krzyku. The album captures a unique fusion of ambiguous emotional lyrics inspired by literature, history, politics, and personal experiences, all delivered through a distinctive baritone against an echo-laden wall of sound and an expressive rhythm section. With Frozen Nightmares, Dorian's Steaming Shadow is set to carve out a significant place in the alternative music scene.
