Apparition Coast release new song ‘Getaway’

Ventura, CA based rock band “Apparition Coast” has been enjoying great success since the release of their latest single “Getaway” which can be found on their sophomore album “Visions.” The song, along with their third single “Hard to Breathe,” was featured on the Heidi and Frank show on September 15th 2023, on the world famous “Stay or Go” segment. The band was voted positively with the final result being 91% “Stay” and 9% “Go.”

Apparition Coast consists of co-lead singers/guitarists Gage Burgi & AJ Herrera, as well as lead Guitarist DJ Martinez, Bassist Josh Salvatierra, and a variety of touring drummers since the dismissal of their former full timer in the fall of 2022. They write in a variety of musical styles unique to their own voice, while addressing a variety of personal lyrics or broader discussion of mental health. “Getaway” has been praised for it’s nostalgic vibe, calling back to pop-punk of the past, as well its reference to the PCH freeway from where the band grew up. Many have felt it displays good vibes in spite of its break up related subject matter. Some have also said that while it does evoke nostalgia, it feels like it’s pointing to the future of musical progression.

You can look forward to hearing more from the band very soon. Check out their sophomore album “Visions,” released September 29th, available on all streaming platforms, to hear “Getaway” and other songs from the band.
