UK tour with Chlorine this spring + festival dates plotted

Announce special 10 year anniversary Triple cassette tape of their first releases - ‘All Bangers, No Clangers’

now available to pre-order

"Whilst stating the obvious that Green Day are the reason we picked up instruments as kids, ‘Burnout’ specifically has always been a special song for this band,” says Weatherstate vocalist and guitarist Harry Hoskins on the band’s motivation to release this new cover. “Our first ever gig in 2014 was a Green Day covers set at a club night, and we opened the set with this song. With us now celebrating 10 years together as Weatherstate, we wanted to mark the occasion and couldn't think of anything better than going back to where it all started."

In further celebration of their momentous 10-year anniversary, Weatherstate are releasing a limited edition, special triple cassette tape of their first three releases, titled ‘All Bangers, No Clangers’. Pre-order the limited edition of their ‘Dead Ends’ EP, ‘Dumbstruck’ EP and the album ‘Born a Cynic’ here. This is the very first time that ‘Born a Cynic’ will be available on cassette and the run is limited to 50 copies.

Weatherstate are also back to what they do best and are heading out on tour in April / May with US band Chlorine on a run that includes Teddy Rocks Festival. Dates below and tickets available here.

Weatherstate released their second album, the Alan Day-produced ‘Never Better’, in 2022 via Rude Records. Now the Weymouth punk band are newly independent and going back to basics with this Green Day cover to kickstart their new era.
