Biography

Embracing Chaos: Radio Aftermath's Sonic Fusion of Punk, Electronic Agitation, and Anthemic Rock

Step into the world of Radio Aftermath, where a love for punk, awkward time signatures, and unapologetic screams collide with electrifying electronic elements. Accompanied by a drummer driven by pure passion, this Leeds-based band creates a captivating musical experience like no other.

Throughout their catalogue, these diverse influences battle for supremacy, intertwining to forge agile and anthemic alternative rock songs bursting with colossal riffs and unforgettable hooks. Their debut single, "Kiss from a Rebel," ignited the scene in May 2020 during the peak of the first COVID-19 lockdown. This was followed by the hard-hitting releases of "We Eat the Buffalo" (November 2020) and "Estranged" (February 2021). Embarking on their own headline tour and supporting fellow Leeds talents When They Riot in late 2021, the band made their mark on the live circuit.

In 2022, Radio Aftermath retreated into the studio, immersing themselves in the recording and release of new music. May brought forth the invigorating "Cup of Coffee in the Big Time," swiftly followed by the enigmatic "Custom Made Lizard Shoes." Their self-titled debut EP, a testament to their creative prowess, dropped in October of the same year.

As we journey into the present, Radio Aftermath diligently crafts their latest single, aptly titled "Fetid," while simultaneously penning a new EP slated for release in late 2023. Brace yourself for the aftermath, where sonic boundaries are shattered, and musical liberation takes center stage.
