Rising Bristol upstarts Mould release debut single 'Birdsong'

Following a run of raucous dates across the UK over the summer, rising Bristol punk-trio MOULD release their new single ‘Birdsong’. Listen to ‘Birdsong’ HERE

Produced by Jon Mcmullen (Wet Leg, Michael Kiwanuka), Mould wear their influences proudly on their sleeves by channelling the likes of Fugazi, Pile and Mclusky on the frantic ‘Birdsong’. Raw, infectious and exhilarating, the track is a taste of what’s to come from one of the South West’s most exciting new bands.

“‘Birdsong’ was the first song we made together,” frontman and guitarist Joe Sherrin said of the track. “The song is about how trying to be optimistic all the time is draining.  Someone told me I have a positive demeanour and always try to see the good, but this song is about the personal cost of that.”

The band will head back out on the road next month for a run of dates with HETTA. Kicking off at Moor Brewery in Bristol on December 1st, the run culminates with a date at Blondies in London on December 9th.
