Stray Native Are Ready To Flood Your Ears

The UK maestros release their first new music since being shortlisted for Kerrang Radio’s The Deal! Competition

Stray Native return with their highly anticipated first single since being shortlisted in Kerrang Radio’s The Deal Competition this year. Highly praised by Alyx Holcombe on her ‘Feedback Friday’ feature & selected by BBC Introducing as one of the 'Best of The Year', this latest release is the first in a string of new music coming before the end of 2024; a year which they intend to make their own and finish by being a name on everyone's lips.

The band comment: "Floods marks a step in a slightly different direction for us-  Where our debut EP Predators had a good mixture of light and shade across it's track listing, Floods is the first in a series of all out, big riff singles, showcasing the heaviest tracks we have written to date."

Drawing influences from the likes of ThriceIncubus and Queens of the Stone Age, the quintet have perfectly crafted their sonic sound over a number of years before deciding to unleash it on the rest of the world. Following the earlier video releases of singles ‘Grow’ and ‘Glassjaw’, the guys return with this video for ‘The Floods’ - a track which has already blown away crowds live this Summer and will be accompanied by a Single Launch show at The Beehive in London, before jumping on to support fast-rising newcomers MOSKITO for their Peterborough headline show as part of the ‘FEAR THE FENS’ Tour in November.

With more to come in 2024, this is your last chance to get on board with these guys early and say “I was there before they were huge”.
