[15/11/24] Following the release of their debut single ‘Frequency’, featuring Obi Franky, Kam-Bu, and written in collaboration with The Blessed Madonna, electronic duo Solid Wall (aka Pat Alvarez & Lucas Vedel) today share their new single ‘Find Me’ featuring vocals from Uffie. Out now via [PIAS] Électronique – listen here.
After meeting Solid Wall on her first writing trip to London, Uffie joined the pair for a session, and kickstarted the track by jamming on the mic with the opening line: “When you’re feeling lonely, you know you can find me.” Uffie shares:
“It was my third session of the day, and we were all quite tired but they created the best energy and sonics, and the freestyles flowed.”
Taking this idea, experimenting with the harmony, and restructuring the vocals, Pat and Lucas then turned it into a solid track a week later. With the use of a 404, acid bass machine and Moog synthesisers, ‘Find Me’ shows a different side to the duo, who adopt a more minimal and mysterious approached compared to their debut.
“It’s about love, resilience, and the powerful intimacy of being deeply connected to someone” the duo describe. “In today’s world of screens and faceless people, it’s easy to feel lonely, and that loneliness can make you feel trapped in your own thoughts – This song is a call to let go,to surrender those thoughts and lean into connecting with that one person who makes you feel safe.”
Mixed by Stephen Sedgwick (Gorillaz, Lana Del Rey, Damon Albarn), and mastered by Stuart Hawkes (Charlie XCX, Disclosure, Chase & Status), the track received an early audience test during Uffie’s live shows, where it resonated instantly with fans. Vedel also spun it at the opening of Berlin’s new club, [trauma bar], with Uffie jumping on the mic to bring the track to life.
“It’s always great to see people’s reactions when you play a new track for them,” Solid Wall add “and this one always hit just right!”

Solid Wall's story began in Buenos Aires in 2018, when Lucas Vedel and Pat Alvarez met through a mutual friend and mixing guru, Martin Sólimo. Martin and Pat worked at Blue Noise, a production and mixing studio in the south of Buenos Aires. During a visit to see Martin, Lucas overheard Pat's music, leading to an impromptu collaboration on bass. From then on, for nearly eight months, they made music together every day.
Pat was set to move to London in March 2020, but the world shut down due to Covid, and his flight was rescheduled for November 2020. During that time, Lucas and Pat worked remotely until they reunited in November 2020 in Dalston, East London.
By December 2020, during the pre-Brexit lockdown, Pat was mixing Kōya's album at Big Limbo Studio. Following the album's completion, Lucas and Pat travelled to Paris, where lockdown restrictions extended their stay to a month. During this time, they busked, composed new songs, and travelled, returning to London at the end of January 2021.
February 2021 marked a significant turning point when Pat joined Noatune Studios as an engineer and mixer. Working with various artists, he eventually collaborated with The Blessed Madonna (Marea Stamper) on her album, introducing Lucas as a musician and friend. This led to the three of them opening their own studio, Godspeed, in Hackney Central.
Established at Godspeed, and while working on several other projects, Lucas and Pat began DJing at friends' parties both in London and abroad, with the challenge of creating a song an hour before each show to experiment with the pre-performance adrenaline. With this approach, they started writing and shaping songs with artists such as Uffie, Liam Bailey, Julia Church, Sur Back, Rose Gray, Kam-Bu and many more, and in November 2023, Solid Wall received a record deal offer from [PIAS].
