SINGLE REVIEW: The Deep Blue - How About It?

You need to hear the latest single 'How About It?' from Manchester quartet The Deep Blue. I urge you, no in fact demand you stop what you're doing and listen RIGHT NOW. You'll thank me, I promise!

Enriching, enchanting harmonies, the girl voices blend into one with their sweet, slightly ethereal tone. 'How About It?' is the perfect track to get you in the mood for a night out, a great song to sing along to while going about your daily chores or an anthem to a long drive on a summer's day. You find yourself getting lost in the stunning melody and enticing groove.

The Deep Blue, whilst punk in spirit sit somewhere between contemporary folk and grown up pop with EDM tendencies. Instantly likeable the lyrics while deeply personal to the band are there for anyone to take as their own and apply their own meaning. Wise, world cautious songwriting promotes the idea that sometimes you're safer on your own living in your own daydreams rather than diluting yourself in everything around you.

Coming in mystical and dreamy, allowing the clarity in the vocals to shine, it builds softly before an acapella moment adds depth, growing into a riff heavy, dancefloor filling disco banger with softer interludes and magnificent layered vocals.

These ladies are exceptional talents, their sound is uplifting while the songwriting is thoughtful. Everything about 'How About It?' is meticulously planned and delivered with well rounded professionalism. Mark my words The Deep Blue are going to be the next big thing!
