SINGLE REVIEW: SOROR - Bohemian Paradise

Brussels-based SOROR deliver a unique take on dream pop with their engulfing new single 'Bohemian Paradise'.

Hypnotic and somewhat uneasy 'Bohemian Paradise' is a soundscape of psychedelic atmospheric noise, dreamy with stunning ethereal vocals. The soft yet cutting guitars play against gently protesting drums and groove-driven bass. It's the kind of track where if you close your eyes the sound intensifies. There's a dark, mysterious, haunting feel that can't help but make you feel a little unsettled as your senses are ignited leaving you absorbed in the captivating sounds.

Building towards the end, 'Bohemian Paradise' diverts from its lo-fi stance into a burst of pummeling drums and distorted, reverb guitars to provide a chaotic showcase of everything SOROR have to offer as musicians before ending on the track's signature soft vocals.

'Bohemian Paradise' is an intriguing listen, an immersive sound that enthralls with its darkened mystical energy and majestic vocals.
