SINGLE REVIEW: Partisan Way - I Know What You'll Say

Partisan Way is the alias of singer songwriter Dan Tierney. Dan has been releasing music since 2021 when Partisan Way put out their debut album "Show Don't Tell".

Latest single 'I Know What You'll Say' is a fun, swinging little ditty with sunny indie vibes and some unconventional electric experimentation. Characterised with Dan's signature high pitched vocals Partisan Way draws influence from the cabaret flamboyance of The Divine Comedy and the melodic indie harmonies of Ben Folds.

'I know What You'll Say' is a modern take on a classic 90's indie stance with hints of the 60's psychedelia. Further adding additional levels of intricacy in the form of futuristic riffs to bring the sound grooving into the 21st century.

A funky little bop that radiates positivity urging the listener to let the past go and give the future a chance to be wonderful.

Quirky and fun, Partisan Way takes the known and adds a sprinkle of uniqueness to create a catchy, friendly and addictive sound.

By day I'm a Leaks, Condensation, Damp and Mould Resident Liaison Officer and by night I'm CRB's admin bitch, reviewer extraordinaire, point and hope for the best photographer, paperclip monitor and expert at breaking anything technical then expecting Scott to fix it!

I'm into all kinds of music the more obscure the better (my music taste is definitely better than yours šŸ¤ŖšŸ˜œ) with my fave band being The Wonder Years.

I'm an Ipswich Town fan and have an unhealthy obsession with hedgehogs!
