SINGLE REVIEW: Lars Boquist and the 1712s - Rest of 4ever

Combining pop melodies with heavy, crisp guitars and powerhouse vocals Sweden's Lars Boquist and the 1712s blast on '80s inspired stadium ready new single 'Rest of 4ever'.

Having spent years in bands and a solo stint, Lars formed Lars Boquist and the 1712s in 2016. 'Rest of 4ever' is the band's fourth release.

Bold and exaggerated 'Rest of 4ever' is a rich, driven track taking inspiration from flamboyant rockers such as Kiss, coupling melodic heavy rock with more hard-hitting metal tenancies bringing the sound together with catchy, pop vibes.

Theatrical and luscious in tone, Lars Boquist and the 1712s radiate pulsating energy, 'Rest of 4ever' is an exuberant listen. Exhilarating and adrenaline-fueled, it powers through abounding in stunning metallic riffs and thunderous drums. The vocals are commanding and impactful. It's easy to see Lars has been in the industry for years, handling himself with pure class and professionalism.

There's a magnificent intricate, thrash-inspired solo. Fast, furious, and eruptive, it brings further energy to an already dynamic, spirited tune.

'Rest of 4ever' is a wonderfully uptempo, seriously catchy old-school rock anthem. Glittering with grandeur and igniting with passion, it's a track not to be missed!
