SINGLE REVIEW: Hungry - The Jig

Cambridgeshire-born, Manchester-based Hungry blast on their latest single 'The Jig'. A pummelling anti-establishment protest song calling out the self-righteous ruling classes who look down on those beneath them as lazy and unambitious. Hammering home the fact all the corruption is slowly being exposed and the moral majority are finally seeing through the lies and deceit. As the lyrics blast "the jig is up".

Combining garage rock, indie, and punk with a glimmer of blues, 'The Jig' is a vibrant listen with funky riffs, pounding drums, catchy hooks, and raw, raucous vocals. The DIY vibes make the track feel even more real as it bleeds the nation's frustration with every word.

Rampant mayhem the Hungry lads have plenty to say delivering the despondency of the country with authenticity.

Sounding like The Hives and Libertines' lovechild it's garage rock heavy with a kick-ass bite. Hungry are here to turn heads and make people sit up and take notice!
