SINGLE REVIEW: Greebo - Nigel

Greebo take us on an extraterrestrial journey in new single 'Nigel'

2 minutes of carnage and disarray! 'Nigel' boasts screaming guitars, catchy hooks, funky groove and quirky, chanty vocals.

Beginning with an except from a news report of an alien abduction the lyrics take inspiration from a real life encounter experienced by the band. Telling the story of a man's son, 'Nigel' who disappeared when the "spacemen came to play'. The words are fun and punchy. With the line "he does like to annoy" particularly speaking to me as one of my best friends is called Nigel and this describes him perfectly!

'Nigel' is musical mayhem with loud guitars, louder drums and endearing, nonchalant, Jack the Lad vocals. They combine punk with art rock and a raw, under-produced feel to give the perfect DIY garage rock sound. The track blasts in, is over before you know it and is sure to have you reaching for the repeat button!

I'm Amy a Norfolk girl, currently residing at the seaside.

Age: eternally 21 (Iā€™m really Peter Pan!).

By day I'm a Leaks, Condensation, Damp and Mould Resident Liaison Officer and by night I'm CRB's admin bitch, reviewer extraordinaire, point and hope for the best photographer, paperclip monitor and expert at breaking anything technical then expecting Scott to fix it!

I'm into all kinds of music the more obscure the better (my music taste is definitely better than yours šŸ¤ŖšŸ˜œ) with my fave band being The Wonder Years.

I'm an Ipswich Town fan and have an unhealthy obsession with hedgehogs!
