NYC’s The Midnight Callers share addictive new single ‘New York Tramp’

The Midnight Callers emerge as the power pop purveyors of the vibrant NYC scene. Made up of Chris Paine and Martin Stubbs on guitars and lead vocals, with Marley Myrianthopoulos laying down the pulsating basslines and Julien Budrino setting the rhythmic foundation on drums, (even adding a bit of French in to some of their performances, being from the South of France and all). Together, they create a sonic blend that blurs the lines between vintage rock and power pop, with layers of retro influence. Is it any wonder these guys have received regular Sirius XM radio play on Little Steven’s Underground Garage and The Beatles Channel?

Their upcoming June 23rd release Rattled Humming Heart is a musical odyssey that seamlessly introduces punk, country, and glam influences into their signature sound, paying homage to the raw magnetism of their cherished urban landscape. The Midnight Callers have peeled back the layers of pop music, revealing its core essence, while adding these newfound layers.

Remember that exhilarating feeling of discovering an extraordinary band in your youth? The Midnight Callers aim to rekindle that spark. They are fueled by a profound desire to create music that resonates and connects, and have a brilliant time along the way. Though they approach their craft with a refreshing dose of self-awareness, they pour their hearts and souls into every note.

“Our music is basically a massive thank you to those classic artists that inspired us,” says Paine. “Also, nothing is more exciting than seeing others get excited about something you created.”

Keep an eye out for their June 23rd album release, Rattled Humming Heart and get ready for a wild ride; these guys are here to turn your world upside down in the best way, their magnetic energy laced with a touch of wry charm, wit, and loads of talent.

‘New York Tramp’ is an infectious, catchy anthem. Powerful with addictive retro vibes. It sublimely encapsulates 80’s Power Pop with modern-day driven rock. It’s bursting with contagious hooks and abounding confidence. A shimmering alt rock banger!
