Modell release new album "Turning Point"
Modell, a band that blends elements of contemporary pop, electronica and neo-soul based in Rome, is back with a sensational new album, titled "Turning Point."

After the anticipation single "Reaching The Sky," a track that constituted a connection between the sacred and the profane, with controversial vibes, both positive and negative at the same time, the band returns with twelve tracks that taste of neo-soul and electro-pop, ingredients mixed expertly in a musical journey that crosses interest in travel, culture and sonic experiences of emotional connection.
In delving into the precious sonic concentrate offered by Modell one is confronted with a well-conceived and developed work; elements of reality are added to surrealism using catchy melodies, walking bass, dreamy funk-jazz guitars, soulful keyboards, brilliant drums, vibrant vocals, vocal harmonies and trumpets. The rhythmic compositions convey feelings of tasty simplicity with elements of surprise.
The essence of the band is condensed in these twelve tracks: Modell is a sonic kaleidoscope made by five musicians ready to drag you on a whirlwind journey through neo-soul and electro-pop sensations, never losing the big picture of the myriad influences and sounds that can run through a band's artistic inspiration.
An intergalactic carousel that transcends the dimensions of space and time, propelled by explosive energy and irrepressible sounds.
Nicola Nolli, founder of the band, comments on the release of the new album, revealing what was the starting point, the fuse that then ignited the creativity behind the production of this album:
"I tried to focus on the main human conditions, and after lots of thinking I concluded these are basically it for me: all the time spent in isolation and then traveling to various places served me to build a well-defined figure, starting from certain dots I drew on paper at first, which then translated into music, driving a dialogue between emotions, which at times are contradictory and yet very similar, intertwining with each other."
In the creative process of this album, several talented artists collaborated to bring forth an extraordinary musical work. Nicola Nolli, in addition to handling the production, contributed his virtuosity on bass, synthesizers, and keyboards. Enchanting and engaging lead vocals were provided by Deborah Grandi.
Susanna Nolli enriched the album with a participation in the song "This is my place." Simone Piccinelli demonstrated his versatility on bass, guitars, keyboards and pianos, while Davide Chiari added his personal touch on pianos. Giuseppe Mondini provided a solid rhythmic foundation with his skill on drums, while Mauricio Melo added a unique percussive dimension.
Wind instruments were entrusted to Paolo Malacarne on trumpet, featured on "Reaching the sky "and Samuele Pedrazzani on tenor saxophone, who embellished "Desire."
Technical details, crucial to capture every sonic nuance, were handled by Simone Piccinelli, Davide Chiari and Gabriele Ponticiello during the recording sessions. Mixing and mastering of the album were handled by Simone Piccinelli at La Buca Recording Club.
Together, this ensemble of musicians shaped an album that stands out for its sonic diversity and individual artistry, giving the audience an engaging and memorable musical experience.
The band's current lineup boasts an eclectic group of musicians, each bringing their own distinctive contribution to the sonic palette: Nicola Nolli (bass, backing vocals, live electronics), Daniele Bucci (drums), Rosario Moricca (electric guitar), Marco Palmisano (keyboards), Giorgia Pesare (lead vocals).
