Karen Harding has released a video for her new single‘Wrong Places’, the latest single to be taken from her highly anticipated debut albumTake Me Somewhereout September 29thvia Ultra Records.
 
The performance visualiser features the multi-platinum singer interspersed with dramatic clips of volcanic eruptions and natural selection as Karen addresses the chaotic landscape of navigating love in the dark trance anthem.
 
The song is receiving strong radio support and proving to be the latest in Karen’s extensive range of hits. On its release last Friday, it shot straight onto the playlists of Kiss Dance & Capital Dance, and has been championed on their parent stations, while also achieving Radio 1 plays too.
 
Speaking to the Daily Star she said the single is about,“Not being able to find love when you’ve lost it before. To feel like you’re ready to find love again, but can’t, and blame it on being in the wrong place, wrong time, when in fact it’s you that can’t get over losing love.”
 
‘Wrong Places’ reflects the rich journey of the forthcoming albumTake Me Somewhereand the song finds Karen exploring new avenues of electronic music with her distinctive infectious melodies."It's such a cool, vibey single that sounds different from anything I've done before,”says Karen.“I've recorded a lot of house music over the years, but I've also released some more leftfield dance songs and 'Wrong Places' feels like a nod in that more leftfield direction."
