One of Boorloo's favourite indie outfits, Joan & The Giants, are getting ready to hit the road for a 10-date tour across Australia this September and October, supporting Belinda Carlisle who is celebrating 35 illustrious years of her solo career.

Following the release of their pained and intensely passionate single 'Feels Like Heartache' (in July) and the recently announced news that they are showing at Sydney's SXSW 2024, there is no doubt that these giants are experiencing some meteoric growth.

Well toured, and stadium show savvy after supporting P!NK and Tones and I in Optus Stadium in March, Joan & The Giants are eager to hit the road once again. Grace Newton-Wordsworth speaks on the band's excitement about supporting Belinda Carlisle:

"We are so honoured to be performing with Belinda around Australia for her incredible Decades tour. This is our first-ever national tour support, and to be travelling around the country with such a beloved and iconic artist just feels like a pinch-me moment for all of us. We cannot thank Belinda enough for having us on board. Also, we have dreamt of playing these theatres for the last 10 years, so this will be a very special time for the four of us and an absolute dream come true."

Belinda Carlisle's 10-date Australian tour has her celebrating 35 years of an absolutely prolific career. The American singer and songwriter had this to say about Joan & The Giants and her upcoming tour:

"I am SO thrilled that Joan and the Giants will be opening up for me on my upcoming tour of Australia. I have no doubt they will be making new fans along the way - I'm a new fan, myself. I cannot wait!"

Once they wrap up the tour, Joan & The Giants' massive run of shows continues. They will be performing at the multi-day festival in Northern Queensland, Savannah In The Round, before showcasing at Sydney's SXSW. Then, come November, these giants play Blues At Bridgetown festival in WA.
