Introducing Bluntnose - new single and video 'Park Bench Throne' set for 20th September

As the oceans host the ancient Bluntnose shark, the western city of Gloucester is home to the band of the same name. Trading killer instincts for killer riffs, Bluntnose are breaking free from the preconceived notions of genre and ambush their prey with a visceral assault of alt-metal that glides seamlessly through the oceans of musical history to deliver a fresh new apex for creativity. Launching their new single, Park Bench Throne, Bluntnose will provide a sonic presence that lands on radars everywhere.

On the 20th of September 2024, Bluntnose will deliver their rallying cry to those searching for something new, wanting to turn the tide and break free from their mundane existences.  Park Bench Throne is the first experience you will likely have with Bluntnose, but it will not be the last.

Bluntnose have a simple message to all who find them:

"WELCOME TO THE FRENZY!

Park Bench Throne is a heavy-hitting, melodic, genre-mash that analyses topics of loneliness, grief, anxiety and depression. Thematically reaching across the generations, Bluntnose pull on a range of fabled outsider heroes that have influenced them, from Nirvana to Slipknot, Deftones to Code Orange, but most importantly they present something real.

Accompanied by the band’s first music video, the story style lyrics and artistic vision is portrayed both musically and visually offering a deeper insight into the thought process and emotion behind the track.

Bluntnose are:
