Indie Rock Outfit In Good Hands Releases Emotive New Single ‘Old Friends’

Bursting with heartfelt nostalgia and raw energy, indie-rock outfit In Good Hands is excited to announce the release of their latest single, Old Friends, dropping on Wednesday October 30th. This infectious track captures the bittersweet essence of youth and the struggle of adult life, making it a must-listen for anyone yearning for those old carefree days spent with friends.

Following the release of their debut EP, ‘Daylight’, this newest single delves deeper into the world of In Good Hands, continuing to strengthen their Australian Indie-Rock tendencies with heartfelt lyrics contemplating growth, fear and self reflection. Lead singer Jack Kenyon expresses that the lyrics “reflect the struggle of feeling lost in the routine of adult life, we remind ourselves—and you—that it’s okay to feel scared but never too tired to chase those memories again.”

The band returned to the studio with producer Jack Nigro on the track, a collaboration that was seen on their previous well received EP releases. The band explained the process behind the creation as;
“This one came together super quickly and naturally, with the bones turning into the finished song in a week or so. We knew straight away that it would be a track we had to record with Jack Nigro up at Sonora Studios, so we rushed up there to get it done!”

Fresh off of their EP tour, In Good Hands doesn’t show any sign of slowing down, releasing this new single alongside their consistent live presence. Don’t miss out on ‘Old Friends’, a track that promises to resonate with anyone longing for the simplicity of their youth while navigating the complexities of adulthood.
