Experience Nonsense-Fueled Fun with Flowers of Evil’s New Spanglish Track; Disparate

Step into the world of Flowers Of Evil (Oscar Puente, Phia Sky, Ted Booth); the Manchester-based LGBTQ+ art-pop outfit. Mixing romantic melodies with industrial beats and catchy hooks, the dynamic trio create a playful sonic landscape. Add their live theatrics into this equation and you find yourself captured by their flamboyant aesthetic and upbeat presence.

Since their formation in 2020, Flowers of Evil have been making waves collaborating with a number of artists from the queer community and beyond. Their latest single Disparate (Spanish for ‘nonsense’) is no exception, this time featuring guest vocals from Jenny Perry; 1/4th of Manchester’s emerging alternative jazz pop band Brand New Legs

Disparate draws inspiration from the Dada movement, inviting the audience to embrace the absurdity of life. The Flowers navigate the balance between the sensible and nonsensical, unravelling the assumptions people make about one's identity.

From sold-out shows in Manchester and Liverpool to sharing the stage with international acts like Baba Ali and Luke Black, Flowers Of Evil are making their mark in the scene. And with their community project Evil Things and love for collaborations, they're not just creating music – they're on a mission to shake things up.

Starting the year with their first spin on BBC Radio 6 and landing on the cover of ASBO magazine, 2024 is looking promising for the group. With their infectious energy and unapologetic spirit, they're a band on the rise – don’t miss your chance to become part of the Flowers of Evil universe this spring!
