Danny Silvertone Ready to ‘Risk It All’
‘RISK IT ALL’ FIRST TASTE OF DANNY SILVERTONE’S ‘NOCTURNAL’
Danny Silvertone is back with another sensual alt-R&B single, “Risk It All,” out March 9th.
“Risk It All” is the lead single off Silvertone’s upcoming album Nocturnal. He continues sharing narratives of passionate connection as he did on recent singles, “Lifeline” and “New To You.”
Silvertone spends the verses singing an entrancing melody over dramatic percussion hits. “If you’ve got no ideas, babe, I can give you one,” he suggests.
When the chorus hits, rhythmic backing vocals, nostalgic synths and cool guitar layer together to drive forward Silvertone’s call of “I wanna risk it all when I see you.”
Silvertone utilizes pop, trap, R&B and alt-rock to round out his unique sound, something that’s both edgy and glossy. He counts The Weeknd and The Neighbourhood among his biggest influences - sounds that shine through with his seductive lyricism and rich, airy production.
Silvertone touched on how Tumblr & its iconic alt-pop era inspired “Risk It All”:
“This song is like my personal love letter to 2014 Tumblr pop music that had heavy drums and a lot of post-production. Like Melanie Martinez, her drum kits and how heavy those hits were on Cry Baby. At the same time, keeping the very ambient indie feeling of I’m Sorry… and I Love You by The Neighbourhood and Beauty Behind the Madness by The Weeknd... I wanted it to feel cinematic, big, and like an adventure.”
Nocturnal is set for an April 19th release and is the follow-up to Silvertone’s 2021 debut Insomnia.

ABOUT DANNY SILVERTONE
Danny Silvertone is an American singer-songwriter. His R&B/ALTERNATIVE POP music hybrid is noted for its stylized, cinematic quality and exploration of themes of intimacy, late-night vibes, romance, and sadness. His music contains many references to pop culture, particularly from the 1990s and early 2000s.
Danny is a musician from an especially eclectic background. The Phoenix local was born in 1997 to a Black mother and Japanese father. He has been noted for saying the culture fusion he grew up in deeply inspires music even today, citing artists such as Black Sabbath and Michael Jackson as some of his earliest influences. He also has taken to social media several times to credit films such as “GHOST IN THE SHELL” and “THE MATRIX” for his love of alternative music and media.
He’s gone on record to state multiple times that the passing of his father in 2008 inspired him to make the most of his own life by pursuing his passions. In 2018-2020 he fronted the alternative rock / hyperpop band KURU before leaving to pursue other projects.
