EP REVIEW: Sophia Marie - Foreigner EP

This EP is absolutely brilliant! From the first listen I knew it belonged on my playlists!

Foreigner is the debut EP from politics undergrad Sophia Marie telling tales of trading beach life for the big city, her love of foreign folk as well as some narcissistic dates she’s been on.

Sophia has a very distinctive, sweet and captivating voice and a unique sound. Mixing bright up tempo vocals with a poppy alternative country sound. The energy in this EP is fantastic. If you'd asked me before I turned this record on if I like country music I would have instantly said no, after listening to this maybe I need to explore the genre a bit more.

My favourite is the title track foreigner, it’s just the perfect mix of catchy lyrics, super sweet vocals and upbeat guitars.

I cannot recommend this EP highly enough, I know you’re going to love it!
