Brooklyn-based alt rock Superswell drops their debut EP, "Images of New Violence"

Brooklyn-based rock band Superswell releases their debut EP Images of New Violence, available on all streaming platforms. The EP features four tracks including Like A Dog, an alternative metal anthem for werewolves and a new fan favorite.

Building on the momentum of previous releases, Images of New Violence showcases a bold evolution in Superswell’s sound. Drawing influences from grunge-gaze and the nü-metal revival, the band has honed a unique ability to create eerie atmospheres with lush jazz chords, psychedelic textures, and powerful screamed vocals. Throughout the EP, Superswell channels the swagger of rock legends, all while maintaining their distinct voice. Thematically, Images of New Violence dives deep into ambition, isolation, and horror.

Images of New Violence is our first cohesive body of work. We are really proud of how much we’ve grown as a band in its creation”, says Daniel Avedis Masotti, lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist. “It’s hard rock music that to us feels genuine, exciting, and dark.”

Tracklist

1) Like A Dog

2) Be There Soon

3) I Don’t Want The World (Shuffle)

4) Wax Poetic

The EP was produced and mixed by Brian DiMeglio (Superbloom, Stay Inside, Gluehead) and mastered by Grammy nominated Will Yip (Code Orange, Title Fight, Turnstile).
