Baker says, “This song came to me very quickly when I started to think about my old days writing songs for my first pop punk band The Leftovers. I picked up the guitar and the chords came with the lyric “delusional”. Sometimes it ain't easy playing music and pursuing your passions - sometimes you might think “Am I totally just full of crap?”. Well, chances are you are NOT, but this song is about the feeling you sometimes get when you start to question yourself. Musically this song is influenced by bands I loved when I was a young pop punkers - Descendents, Screeching Weasel, and Green Day."
Kurt Baker is an American musician and singer-songwriter who is best known for his work as a guitarist and vocalist in the power pop and punk rock genres. He is the lead singer and guitarist for the Kurt Baker Band, a group that has released several albums on Little Steven Van Zandt’s Wicked Cool Records and toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe.
