Young Rockers Mirrorglass Unveil Thrilling New Single, ‘Let’s Go To Mine’ and Announce Forthcoming Release of their Debut Album

Prepare to be blown away as rock band, Mirrorglass, release their third single, ‘Let’s Go To Mine’ on the 19th of July. Single launch show in The Soundhouse, Dublin on Sunday the 21st of July, supported by Pinstripes and Speakers. Debut album,including previous 2 singles,‘Where Will You Go?’ and ‘Hey Honey!’, is set for release on the 13th of September 2024.

‘Let’s Go To Mine’ proves Mirrorglass’ status as a genre bending and one of the most diverse bands in Ireland.The fast paced, 2 minute, punk rock rocker, was recorded in Neal Calderwood’s (formerly of Scheer), ‘Manor Park Studio’'.

‘Let’s Go To Mine’ is a blistering track that kicks off with a thunderous guitar riff, setting the tone for the entire track. The pounding drums from Shane Galligan (17) and pulsating bass line from Rowan Davis (17) drive the song forward, giving it the feel of a classic Motorhead tune. Lead vocalist, Joshua Bowles (18), delivers a powerhouse performance with vocals that are both commanding and emotive, capturing the essence of the lyrics with a magnetic presence. The vocals which end of the song has on numerous occasions been compared to the eccentric and electrifying performances of Axl Rose during Appetite era Guns n Roses, an album which was played extensively during Mirrorglass’ total 5 day stint in Manor Park Studio.

Lyrically, 'Let's Go To Mine' is almost a continuation of 'Hey Honey!'. The lyrics compare a rock show to a one night stand, the influence being drawn from that disappointing feeling when a band rocks the shit out of you and then disappears into the night. The song's anthemic chorus will undoubtedly have crowds singing along at the top of their lungs, making it a perfect addition to rock playlists, live performances and radio.
