Rearing to light it up in 2024, the group announces the release of their sophomore EP, Nothing, Perfectly on May 10th along with a new breakout single and pop-punk anthem, “Holy Moly (This Is Who I Am)”, now streaming everywhere. For fans of Greenday, Billy Talent, Foo Fighters and Sum 41, its soaring choruses and high-driving guitar work pack some serious heat, reminding listeners to never lose sight of who they are for the sake of someone else’s validation.

“Holy Moly was written during a time when I wasn’t sure if I wanted out of a relationship I was in. Sometimes you feel like you’re changing and not for the better. The song is about being confident in yourself to take that step forward and do what’s right for you. People don’t always need to change to accommodate others. We should learn how to be comfortable and never lose sight of who we are,” explains vocalist Brandon McShad.
“Holy moly refers to our initial feeling when we first wrote the instrumental. We knew we had something and dubbed the demo with that title. It has since stuck and we are confident it will garner the same awestruck reaction from our listeners.

This past fall the group releasedNothing, Perfectly’s first single“Going Nowhere”.Rounding out the EP as the final track, “Going Nowhere”was the first single to be released from this EP (November 2023). It’s an honest and vulnerable reflection of mental health and suicide struggles, rounded out with a hopeful, prevailing stadium-sized chorus. Mental health is an overarching topic, carefully and brilliantly woven throughout all six tracks. The EP title track offers a glimpse into slowly deteriorating relationships while single “Hanging by a Thread”,the heaviest both emotionally and musically, features wailing vocals from frontman Brandon McShad and guitarist Zach Lemay and screaming guitar solos to close it out. With powerhouse songs such as these, there's no doubt thatNothing, Perfectlyis a strong follow-up to their debut, set to take these Montreallers to new heights.

Forming in 2018, the Montreal-based band is fronted by lead singerBrandon McShadwith guitaristZach Lemay,bassistMarc-Olivier Bourdon,andMatt Wareon the drums. Fast friends, in the rehearsal space, the boys quickly recognized their natural chemistry and complementary musical personalities.
