Wilderado release a special live version of their new single 'In Between' featuring the dulcet tones of Oklahoma native Ken Pomeroy. Pomeroy, a Folk/Americana artist of Cherokee descent, has been singing, writing songs and playing the guitar since before she hit her teens. Pomeroy’s addition to “'n Between' lends the single even more “sweet harmonies and unhurried twangs”.

'In Between' is Wilderado’s first new music of 2023 and was written by the band during sessions for their forthcoming sophomore album. The song was recorded in Norman, Oklahoma, and produced by Chad Copelin (Sufjan Stevens, Andrew Belle, SYML) and James McAlister (Gracie Abrams, The National). The same team worked on the new live version of the single that in addition to Pomeroy, features Muskrat Jones (Colter Wall) on the pedal steel guitar. Pomeroy has been creating a name for herself on the Oklahoma music scene for quite some time now, opening for the legendary Wanda Jackson a few years ago at the Oklahoma Rodeo Centennial Opry and becoming a regular at the Woody Guthrie Folk Festival.

The new music comes as Wilderado kicks off their fall US headline tour this Saturday. They plan to continue to release more music in the weeks ahead as they complete work on the follow-up to their self-titled debut album that came out in October 2021. Just this past spring ahead of a US tour with My Morning Jacket, the band released 'Wilderado Live', their first-ever live LP. The 12-track LP featured career-spanning songs including 'Surefire' and 'Head Right', along with several older songs including 'Wheat' and 'Morning Light' as well as fan favourite 'Rubble to Rubble'.

Following their UK and European live debut last year, first as main support on alt-J's sold-out tour, and soon after for their own headline shows, Wilderado will return in 2024, with more details to be announced soon.
