Wild Powwers Release "Guided" Single from Upcoming Album on Nadine Records

Seattle's Wild Powwers are back with a new single today (see New Noise Magazine premiere)....

Listen: "Guided"

Wild Powwers singer/guitarist Lara Hilgemann, bassist Jordan Gomes, and drummer/singer Lupe Flores (who owns renowned Seattle restaurant “Lupe’s Situ Tacos”) have been banging out heavy, infectious, shimmering rock music together for 10 glorious years. On their fifth full length album, Pop Hits & Total Bummers Vol. 5, the band cultivates a collection of songs that lean in on both sides of the musical spectrum. Some are written to be catchy, and some are written to be massive bummers. They'd like to thank Seattle's lack of sunshine for making it all possible.

“Guided is about the world quite literally burning around you and feeling the exhaustion of getting up and pretending that life is normal and that everything is status quo" Hilgemann says of the new single adding, "It starts to feel like nothing makes a difference and you just don’t want to try anymore, you can’t put anymore energy into caring anymore. “This house is burning down but, whatever. This is the total bummers section of the album. Thank you, enjoy. Or not.”

Look for Wild Powwers new album Pop Hits & Total Bummers Vol. 5 via Nadine Records on July 5th.
