Wigan Five-Piece Apostles Return With Rousing New Single 'Gimme Feelin''

Hailing from Wigan, indie rockers Apostles have been steadily making a name for themselves throughout their native North West thanks to a steady stream of releases and shows that have turned heads in cities such as Manchester, Liverpool and further afield.

Indeed, said shows and single releases have afforded the band appearances at festivals such as Isle of Wight, which they were asked back the following year, as well as airplay on the likes of XS Manchester, who’ve been a champion of the band almost since their inception.

Of course, bands are only as strong as their recent material, and thankfully on that front, Apostles have gone from strength to strength. Singles such as ‘Sixteen’, ‘Take It All’ and ‘(Get It Through) Your Head’ have racked up impressive plays on Spotify, with the latter hitting almost 30,000 plays.

It’s a trend that looks set to continue with latest single ‘Gimme Feelin’’ Three minutes of frenetic indie energy that’s reminiscent of the sunkissed sounds of Two Door Cinema Club or North West neighbours, Corella. A step in both sound and scope, ‘Gimme Feelin’’ isn’t just the sound of a band spreading their wings, it’s the sound of them hitting their stride flawlessly.
