West Yorkshire four-piece Wolforna return with single ‘Your Tongue, My Teeth’

Inspired by the raw energy of Deftones and Queens of the Stone Age, fierce riffs, thunderous drums and melodic vocals are at the core of what West Yorkshire four-piece Wolforna do.

And here they are, returning with ‘Your Tongue, My Teeth’, the exciting first single from their upcoming EP, ‘Tales of the Damned’, due to land this October.

‘Your Tongue, My Teeth’ embodies an unsettling ambiance, drawing inspiration from Stephen King's ‘’Salem's Lot’. It intertwines heavy riffs with an eerie undertone, evoking the haunting aftermath of a mysterious transformation. What’s left is isolation and abandonment in the shadows. This narrative is part of the wider EP concept, and introduces the story the other songs follow.

With gigantic support slots for the almighty Dirty Honey and Tigercub under their belt, alongside headliners and festival slots that have further cut their teeth, Wolforna have quite the live CV. But their relentless work at Bradford’s Prospect Studios has equally paid off and manifested in making BBC Radio 1’s ‘Track of the Week’ with ‘22 Degrees & Sunny’. The single has aptly surpassed 22,000 Spotify streams, so it’s clear these lads have a growing audience.

Wolforna have spent 2024 assembling the heavy rock EP of the year. You’d best get ready for what’s to come. ‘Your Tongue, My Teeth’ is out now.
