Following thunderous receptions at every show on their first tour of 2024 last week, Yorkshire metalcore heathens Waterlines are back with a barrelful of announcements!

First of all is the matter of their brand new single, BRACE. The heaviest song the band have released so far; It's three minutes of the fiercest metalcore you will hear all year. The subject matter of the song is as heavy as the riffs that go with it. Put simply, it's a song about a plane ride with an unhappy ending, and those last few moments of life after everything has gone wrong.

With its distinctive mosh call out "None of us will ever see another time another place, so put your head between your legs and let me see you ****ing BRACE", hearing this song live will be like a grenade going off in mosh pits up and down the country. Having already caught the attention of Kerrang Radio's Alex Baker and Radio 1's Alyx Holcombe among others, BRACE. for impact as you discover one of the UK's fastest rising metal bands!

Having just completed four very rowdy shows with their new friends Cabin Boy Jumped Ship, October Ends and Iridium, Waterlines have straight away announced two more batches of live shows! They'll be hitting the road at both the start and end of May for two long weekends of metal mayhem. 

At the start of May, they'll be teaming up with Mancunian metalcore specialists The Human Veil for three shows in Nottingham, Leeds and The Human Veil's hometown show in Manchester. At the end of the month, Waterlines head out for a trio of shows in London, Wakefield and Bolton with tech-metal / metalcore maestros Eschalon. The Bolton chapter of the Waterlines fan club were out in force, as that show sold out in a matter of hours! Full details of all shows on both tours can be found below:

About Waterlines
Coming into being in November 2022, Waterlines hit the ground running at full steam and haven't stopped since. Their first two singles, KÖNIG and The Halo Around The Horns, have had widespread acclaim from Metal Hammer, Kerrang, Distorted Sound and many other outlets, as well as widespread rock radio airplay. Summer hits Prey and Anti Human have followed suit, with the latter being Track Of The Week on Alyx Holcombe's BBC Radio 1 Introducing Rock Show, being featured as a Metal Hammer Track Of The Week and much more. Their performance headlining the Jagermeister Stage at Bloodstock Open Air Festival 2023 has been heralded as a festival highlight by many who were in attendance. Similar performances at other festivals like SummerSlammer, Reading Rising and Derby Alt Fest, not to mention shows with Seething Akira, Vexed, Skarlett Riot and more have seen Waterlines picking up new fans wherever they go.

The recent tour with Cabin Boy Jumped Ship & October Ends saw legions of new fans walking away with Waterlines merch in hand, having discovered their new favourite band. With a start like this under their belts, the sky is the limit for just how far they will go in 2024!
