Released on Island Records in March, From Nothing To A Little Bit More became The Lathums’ second Number One album in two attempts, achieving a rare feat of back-to-back successes alongside guitar band luminaries and peers such as Arctic Monkeys, The Beatles and Blossoms.
Centred around the picture book of singer and songwriter, Alex Moore’s twenty-something life of love, loss and hard-won wisdom, the band combined with producer, Jim Abiss (Adele, Arctic Monkeys, Bombay Bicycle Club) to realise an emboldened vision of the band. The results were heard in the growling, alt-rock of Say My Name and the open-hearted and unapologetically grandiose epics of Turmoil and Struggle.
The Lathums are Moore (vocals/guitar), Scott Concepcion (guitar/piano), Ryan Durrans (drums) and Matty Murphy (bass).
