The self-produced R&B-tinged rapper has long been honing his craft behind the scenes, meticulously sculpting a unique sound that fuses alternative R&B beats with the gritty flow of rap. Vex One is a true DIY artist, building a fully-fledged home studio, stocked with gear usually reserved for high-end professional studios.  He produces, writes, engineers, mixes, and performs on the records. The only other person to touch the records, is the world-renowned mastering engineer, Chris Athens (Drake, Nicki Minaj, Beastie Boys, etc).

Single Description:

Bad For Me is a rap track at its core, but with subtle melodies woven inbetween the provocative lyrics. The unique vocals sit on a bed of 808s and an atmospheric soundscape, giving it more of an R&B sound. This debut single is entirely written, produced and mixed by himself, a testament to his dedication and talent as a multifaceted artist.
