Vancouver, Canada Skatepunk Rock Band The Corps Announces New Members
In preparation for a busy 2024, Vancouver’s skatepunk powerhouse THE CORPS has undergone a lineup change.

Vancouver, BC - Canadian skatepunk outfit THE CORPS (Thousand Islands Records) recently announced the amicable departure of bassist Ronnie Ellis and guitarist Andrew Pederson on the band’s social media.
In their place, The Corps have enlisted Vancouver punk rock veterans Morgan Farrell (ATD, Blacked Out, Bishops Green) on guitar and Dave Derksen (ATD, Little Fix, Whiskey River Gun Club) on bass. Both Morgan and Dave will make their debut with the band in March of this year.
“We’re really happy for Dave and Morgan to be joining The Corps,” says guitarist and lead vocalist Danny Garrison. “Ronnie and Andrew left some pretty big shoes to fill, but since Morgan and Dave are actual giants I’m confident we will hit the stage stronger than ever. Literally.”
The Corps have a new full-length album to be released on Montreal’s Thousand Islands Records this spring (release date TBA). Ronnie and Andrew’s final show with the band will be February 21 at the Rickshaw Theatre in Vancouver with California ska-punk legends, Mad Caddies.
