Utopia Development Corporation unleash single ‘No Factories’

Northampton office based post-punk quintet Utopia Development Corporation have today shared the official visual for their new single ‘No Factories’. In these politically charged times, crisis breeds opportunity and with that in mind Utopia Development Corporation set the post room drones about putting their anger to good use. "No Factories" (Recorded at The Lodge Studio in the band’s hometown and mixed by long term engineer Rufus Fox) is the fruit of this labour. An anthem of bitter rage caused by a political generation of abandonment and neglect. Stream ‘No Factories’ here or watch the visual below.

Speaking on the new single Utopia Development Corporation vocalist Chris Karbowy comments, “No Factories is a no-holds barred discordant melange of political distain, lamenting the physical and artistic wasteland that both Northampton, and the country as a whole, has ultimately become under the governmental leadership structure.”

Established in the logistics heartland of Northampton, UK, Utopia Development Corporation hit record profits in 2021 thanks to introducing a lower standard of living, highly inflated prices and charging their customers by the hour for the dreams they have at night.

In 2022 The Corporation, in an attempt to diversify their revenue streams and further increase their margins, filed to be classified under “The Arts” – a venture that would see them able to claim valuable arts funding in return for releasing compositions of music.

Since their upper management enforced inception, Utopia Development Corporation have played up and down the country, supporting bands such as JOHN (TIMESTWO), The Hell, Naked Lungs, CHALK, Girls In Synthesis and Phoxjaw as well as a recent appearance at Multitude Festival.
