Bittersweet. Turbulent. Powerful. "Bottom Of The Glass" explores the embittered roller coaster of an ended relationship. The intense Metalcore single features an impassioned vocal performance from Ultra-Violence that goes from ethereal to brutal, a perfect sonic illustration of an emotional upheaval. Thrashing guitars, synthesizers, and heavy rhythms round out the perforated soundscape nailing a metaphoric nail into a coffin. "You're dead to me."

“I wrote this song during a very difficult period of my life, at the end of a very important relationship,"explainsUltra-Violence. "A person that I used to know so well and shared everything with suddenly became a stranger and started lying and acting in ways I never expected. I kept asking myself why, but couldn't find a reason. It's then I realized I didn't need one and started focusing only on my own beliefs. Writing this song was a cathartic experience and I listen to it daily cause it reminds me of the fact that we shouldn't be afraid to lose someone who doesn't feel lucky to have us. Especially someone who makes us feel like we're never enough.”

The 4-piece from Italy started in 2009 at the age of 15 and signed with Candlelight/Spinefarm Records.

The band released 1 EP and 3 albums between 2012 and 2018 and achieved great results both live and online. They toured Europe, the UK, and Japan, and their songs from that period have been included in official playlists like "Thrashers" & "Metal Covers".

In 2020, Ultra-Violence decided to leave their record label and become a completely independent band. They worked on new music with a brand new mindset and producer Joakim “Jolly” Karlsson of "Bad Omens" helped them shape their new sound.

They released 4 new singles leading up to the Beyond EP in 2021. The new songs have been included in official playlists like "Adrenaline Workout", "The Core", "All New Metal" & "All New Rock" and they're the fastest-growing tracks of their career.

In 2022, they collaborated with Kellin Quinn of Sleeping With Sirens on a new version of their song "The Silence" and released a cover of "Dear Diary", originally by Bring Me The Horizon.

"Bottom Of The Glass" is available now on all platforms from FiXT.
