‘Latte Partay’ is a genre-bending, disco-pop gen-z anthem that isn’t afraid to dance in the face of adversity. Bringing the fun to a new form, TYDE has dropped a new music video to keep the partay going all night and day.

With its wicked laughter, cheerful horns, disco bass, and funky beat, ‘Latte Partay’ operates on a level of optimistic nihilism. This radical fusion of pop, rock, big band, and disco isn’t afraid to stare down the climate crisis, absurd cost of living, and generational wars, and stick out its tongue.

The playful lyrics offer a tongue-in-cheek response to so-called “first-world problems”, which the music video runs with. Frontwoman Ella Belfanti states:

"The 'Latte Partay' music video is a collective-existential-spiral at a house party in the void about the cost of living crisis and climate change. Like the song, it laughs and dances through the struggles young people face, and celebrates community, caffeine and letting loose with your mates."

The music video isn’t afraid to get goofy with it, offering a highly-saturated absurdist dance party, with a cake amp, flighted avocados, so many sunglasses, and coffee-cup choreography. These vivid visuals pair perfectly with the cheerful horns and truly funky riffs, conjuring up the vibes of a slumber party with best mates, making it what it is: playful, wacky, and truly unique.

Get groovy with TYDE's new music video for 'Latte Partay', and then catch them bringing the funk on tour this May and June.
