Twee-Ze Releases Powerful New Single "Solar Flare" Featuring SeQuence Clark and Greg Dos
[Los Angeles, 8/28/2024] – Rising artist Twee-Ze has just released his latest single, "Solar Flare" a bold and thought-provoking track that explores themes of personal growth, division, and the need for preparation for what lies ahead. The single, which dropped on August 10, 2024, features standout performances from Grammy-nominated songwriter SeQuence Clark and Greg Dos with a production that blends together modern beats, powerful lyrics, and harmonies that resonate.
Twee-Ze shared that the inspiration for "Solar Flare" came from a desire to create something different from his previous releases while staying true to his unique sound. "When I came up with the concept and my verse, I was thinking about how people have different goals, timelines, and definitions of elevation. I see the division and a sense of loss in the world, and I was trying to convey the urgency that people prepare for the next level of what’s to come" he explained. The title of the track was inspired by discussions about recent strange occurrences in space, like the uptick of solar flares. SeQuence Clark, who wrote the hook, did an exceptional job of connecting the dots between the message and the title.
Twee-Ze meticulously crafted the track, selecting the beat from Dream Life. Having his verse ready for almost a year, he knew there were more pieces needed to complete the song. SeQuence Clark was brought on after years of following and interacting with him, believing that his modern twist would enhance the track. Longtime collaborator Greg Dos, known for his thought-provoking messages, was also a natural fit for the song. After these pieces came together, K-D added additional harmonies and handled the mixing and mastering of the track.
Greg Dos reflected on the collaboration, saying, "For me personally, this song is a declaration of an undying determination to reach my goals, and an unwillingness to yield, regardless of any negative beliefs of my closest friends, family, or loved ones. Nothing except for death will prevent me from fulfilling my dreams."
