Tin Pot Clay Man to release single 'Vacant/Ally' on February 29th
Formed in 2020 as a way to write demos for an old project and kill time during lockdowns, what emerged was the project’s debut EP ‘What Will They Think?’. This was followed by heavy gigging and subsequent singles, ‘Personal’, ‘Sometimes I Go Outside’ and the popular ‘MTV’. More recently, Gaurav has relocated to the UK with the band finding a new home in Manchester and regrouped with new members from the local scene. Their new release, the double-single 'Vacant/Ally' is out on Thursday, 29th Feb with the release artwork being hand painted by Jordan Smith from UK shoegaze group bdrmm. Track 1 'Vacant' features the vocals of local ambient-folk artist Rachel Cawley, which delves TPCM's sound into a new more ethereal dream-pop realm whilst staying true to their synthy post-punk roots.
