Thine Inner Sanctum share album “In silence, I wept”

Delve into the atmospheric depths of doom metal with Thine Inner Sanctum's fourth release, "In Silence, I Wept". Available digitally on Misophonic Symphony Records, this album marks a sonic transformation for the band.

"In Silence, I Wept" reflects a shift towards the gothic doom vibe, resonating with the melancholic echoes of bands like Draconian, Tiamat, Anathema, and Aeonian Sorrow. This is a departure from their previous blackened doom sound that found common ground with My Dying Bride, Paradise Lost, Tryptikon, and Evadne.

Thine Inner Sanctum's lead vocalist, Jay Ross, showcases his multidimensional talent, handling vocals, keys, guitars, and drum programming. His creative vision extends beyond music with him also steering the album's art direction. The album becomes even more mesmerizing with the hauntingly beautiful female vocals provided by guest artists Anca Scurtu and Jhyl Noble.

This album features six intricately crafted tracks, each one a poignant tale echoing with atmospheric doom. The album incorporates an unusually high amount of clean melodic guitars, a technique that further enriches the album's sound and style.

"In Silence, I Wept" was recorded remotely at Misophonic Symphony HQ, Jay's home studio, with mixing and mastering also carried out at the same location. The guest vocals were recorded remotely from their respective setups.
