Album Highlights

'The Sicilian Defence' and 'The Wolf in the Fairytale' are both highlights on the album showcasing The Subtheory at their finest.

"Dark and brooding with a uniquely melancholic essence, ‘Crown Of Thorns’ by The Subtheory is captivating electronic, trip-hop that captures a vibe unlike anything else." - Right Chord Music

"Oxford's The Subtheory have really hit the spot with the rich, cinematic synth-alt-rock of 'Sophistry'." Trust The Doc

Every part of ‘Song of the Damascene’ feels so fragile you wonder how it manages to hold itself together, but like a dew-dappled spider’s web its strength is deceptive, its sinister purpose hidden beneath pretty patterns. It’s a lovely, haunting song that belies its apparent smallness and, like mist, envelopes you." - Nightshift
