“News On High” is a multi-faceted political pop gem that imagines each news-cycle as a hit single blasting out of stereos across America. The reggae-infused verses build into a four-on-the-floor chorus that dares you to turn up the volume and dance. The band takes lyrical aim at the blending of entertainment and politics; news and outrage; and the media’s never-ending loop of hysteria that is both divisive and dangerous.

The single is backed by "Truth Dub," a heavy dub-influenced version of the A-side re-mixed by Strawberry Zaiquiri.
The release of “News On High” is the fourth in a string of digital singles for the punk rock stalwarts, who have made it their initiative to continue to release singles over the next few years. The band have seen an enthusiastic response to previous singles “Street Manners,” “Swagger With Kindness,” and “Hurricane Condition,” the latter of which quickly took its place among the band’s most-streamed songs of all time!
