"Anything" is a heartfelt call to those feeling lost or forgotten. There was a time when people believed they could be anything they wanted, but that sense of hope seems to be fading. This song aims to reignite that fire and remind everyone that we can still believe in ourselves.
Holding on to Hope is an open and honest statement about the need to hold on to optimism in a world that often beats us down. Recorded and mixed by longtime collaborator and Juno award-winning producer Jesse Gander at Raincity Recorders in Vancouver, and mastered by Jason Livermore at The Blasting Room, the album marks a natural progression for the band, blending their punk rock roots with a modern hardcore edge.
The Last Mile is relentless. They bring an infectious energy both on and off stage, captivating audiences worldwide. Too punk for the hardcore kids, too hardcore for the punks—until you see them live. They have toured with bands like Title Fight and Comeback Kid and shared stages with NOFX, Petrol Girls, Iron Chic, and La Armada, playing major festivals such as FEST, Obenuse, Rhinos Feroce, and Bearded Punk Fest.
With Holding on to Hope, The Last Mile push their sound even further, delivering a powerful and visceral album that serves as a rallying cry for anyone searching for a reason to keep believing.
